A fun Amazing Race Teambuilding event was held for PRASA. The newly-established Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa, merges the assets, operations and personnel of Metrorail, the South African Rail Commuter Corporation, Shosholoza Meyl, Intersite Property Management Services and the long distance bus company, Autopax. As part of the process of integrating these entities, the role of Intersite is being redefined in order to more effectively support PRASA’s new strategic objectives and direction.

This event took place the Heia Safari Ranch in Muldersdrift. The Heia Safari Ranch can cater for up to 600 guests and is suitable for team building events, luncheons,functions, conferences and product launches. A marquee can also be hired from the venue. The hotel complex and conference centre at the venue consists of thatched stone buildings surrounded by landscaped lawns ideal for outdoor team building activities. The conference centre consists of three air-conditioned meeting rooms and four smaller syndicate rooms.

The Amazing Race event is a venue specific activity and varies from venues. Although each venue is different the structure of the event remains the same. Groups are provided with clues to finding each check-in point. Some of the check-in points the teams need to prove that they located that particular point and others have activities.
