Body Language Basics Training Course
Body Language is a non-verbal form of communication that reveals clues to some unspoken intention or feeling through physical actions. It can include gestures, body posture, eye movements and facial expressions. Body Language is mostly subconscious behavior but can also be applied consciously. It can provide clues to the attitude or state of mind of a person. Through Body Language, a person may reflect attitudes and emotions such as aggression, attentiveness, boredom or a relaxed state.
Body Language plays a significant role in communication and relationships. It is a vital aspect of communication in and outside the workplace. It reveals a great deal about how others feel about you and how you feel towards others. Body Language is also used with verbal communication to show the person talking to you that you are listening to them. You can show attentiveness by making eye contact and nodding your head to show you understand.
In TBAE’s Body Language Basics course, participants will gain knowledge of Body Language that can be used to their advantage at home or in the office. They will be provided with skills to understand that what is not said is just as powerful as what is said. They will also gain understanding on how their own Body Language is being seen by others. With the knowledge and insight gained from this course, you will be able to make the necessary adjustments to improve the way you communicate in non-verbal ways.
Subjects covered in the Body Language Basics course include Communicating With Body Language, Reading Body Language, Body Language Mistakes, Gender Differences, Non-Verbal Communication, Facial Expressions, Body Language in Business, Lying and Body Language, Improve Your Body Language and Matching Your Words to Your Movement.
