Roodevallei in Pretoria was the venue for the Corporate Fun Day team building event of the Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership & Governance (MGSLG). The event was facilitated and coordinated by TBAE Team Building and Events, one of South Africa’s leading team building companies.
The Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership & Governance is a semi-autonomous not-for-profit organization set up by the Gauteng Department of Education. The main objective of the organization is to develop high level leadership and governance skills. Their client base includes principles, deputies, department heads, district officials and school governing bodies. MGSLG is dedicated to elevating educators’ understanding of learners, learning and learning systems.
The team building event took place at Roodevallei in Pretoria East. This venue has ample grass areas for team building events of any size. Overlooking the Pienaars’ River in Pretoria, the venue is surrounded by nature, creating a beautiful and tranquil setting. There are also excellent indoor facilities for indoor activities such as Minute to Win It, Noot vir Noot, Drumming and Art Workshops. Roodevallei offers delicious country styled buffet meals, and there is more than enough accommodation for overnight team building events.
The theme of the day was “Corporate Fun Day” and, as the name says, it was all about having fun while learning to work together as a team. The Corporate Fun Day theme is a selection of the most popular exercises from all of TBAE’s themes. This theme is highly flexible and suitable for any occasion. The activities can be extremely active or toned down to include the “not so active” participants. The event is highly interactive and offers active spectator participation. Teams compete against each other on a number of fun exercises requiring participants to work together as a team. MGSLG Corporate Fun Day included exercises such as Bhati, Hoola Hoop Down, Incubator and Hoola Hoop Races amongst others.
