Nonna Lina means grand-mother Lina and it was opened in 2003 in loving memory of beloved grandmother Lina as a way to keep her memory alive within. The restaurant is always been a local's favourte since the first day that they opened their doors in November 2003. They just want to welcome you and make you comfortable like it was in her home, and also spoil you with easy and simple Italian and Sardinian food. Relax and enjoy every little bite of the food that they will prepare for you.

Nonna Lina Restaurant Amazing Race team building event at Helderberg Farm in Cape Town
The team building theme selected was TBAE’s Walk on The Wild Side Amazing Race team building activity is inspired by The Amazing Race reality competition show. The race takes place on foot and is a venue specific event. Helderberg Farm provided the location and offers a traditional South African charm as well as a friendly atmosphere in which to enjoy your team building event. The current owners are fifth generation of Hendrikz/Obermeyer family to have lived and farmed in the unique Boland Winelands. They are deliberately steering clear of the run of the mill commercialism on the farm and wine grapes of the highest quality are produced here. This Amazing Race Team building incorporated the team building exercises : Lava Flow, Blindfold Collection, and Water Transfer amongst others
