NUFAWSA Team Building Event in Caledon, Cape Town

TBAE recently coordinated and facilitated the National Union of Furniture & Allied Workers SA’s team building event in Cape Town. The National Union of Furniture & Allied Workers SA (NUFAWSA) is a union that believes that the establishment of an anti-racist / non-racial, non-exploitative and democratic society depends on the unity of the working class directed at the eradication of oppression, exploitation and discrimination. It also believes in the promotion, development and maintenance of an authentic working class leadership. NUFAWSA is in affiliation with the National Council of Trade Unions and in association with the Furniture Bargaining Council.

The NUFAWSA team building event took place at The Caledon Casino, Hotel and Spa situated in Caledon only an hour’s drive away from Cape Town’s city centre. The Caledon has excellent venues and facilities for team building events, conferences, functions and corporate events. There is ample space at this venue for both outdoor and indoor team building activities. There is a mixture of conference and corporate event options available to suit any requirements including dinners, private functions, product launches, press conferences, dinner dances, awards functions, private parties, seminars, business meetings, corporate events and team building.

NUFAWSA’s team building theme for the day was TBAE’s Wacky, Wet, Weird and Wonderful. In this diverse team building event, teams compete against each other on a number of different and varied activities. These activities are made up of “Fun Activities, Brain Activities, Physical Activities and Water Activities”. The team building event started off as usual with fun and interactive team building ice breakers followed by a variety of activities. The team took part in fun activities such as Water Transfer, Bucket Challenge, Volley Ball, Plank Races, Blindfolded Minefield and Fashion Show.
