Three themed team building activities were facilitated for Distell at Arabella Hotel and Spa in Kleinmond, Overberg, Western Cape, namely Trust and Cooperation Outcome based team building and Minute To Win It.
The better the team members get to know each other, the easier it will be for them to trust each other. When there is a general feeling of mistrust in a team no amount of team building will motivate the team members to work together.
Cooperation between team members are essential to any team. Often a team of highly talented individuals will perform worse than a team of lesser talented individuals, simply because there is no cooperation within the team.
The Minute To Win It challenges are completed using everyday household objects such as elastic bands, paper cups, empty cans, balloons and toilet paper. Careful strategy is required as the team has to decide which members are going to attempt to complete which challenge. Points are awarded for each challenge and the team with the highest points at the end of the day is declared the winning team of the Minute To Win It event.
