Alberton falls under the Ekhurleni metropolitan municipality and is situated on the southern part of the East Rand of the Gauteng Province.  Alberton is primarily residential in character with many of its inhabitants commuting to work in nearby suburbs or cities of Johannesburg. It has multiple access roads to all major freeways in Gauteng with Johannesburg only 15 km to the northwest, and Pretoria which is 76 km to the north. Alrode is Alberton’s industrial suburb and was established in 1943. The Alberton Boulevard was a major development started in the late 1980’s, with the aim of converting a section of Voortrekker Road that runs past the Alberton City Shopping Mall into a pedestrian-friendly zone. Alberton has many established sports facilities and clubs and is home to the Reading Country Club and Golf Course.

The group from Direct Leisure Golf Distributors gathered at Rietvlei Lifestyle Centre in Alberton, one of TBAE's regular team building venues used in Alberton. First off was a few of TBAE's team building ice-breakers to get everyone relaxed. The group was divided into teams and they donned their team colours to compete in TBAE's team building exercises.
