Keys to effective time management include planning and taking conscious control over the amount of time spent on activities. Time management is especially useful for increasing your team’s effectiveness, efficiency or productivity. It is an essential skill for success in any situation where time constraints are involved. Teams that are highly effective are those who are able to focus on those tasks that have the greatest impact to the organization.

Time management involves planning and taking conscious control over the amount of time spent on activities. Time management is especially useful for increasing effectiveness, efficiency or productivity. There is a variety of skills and tools that may be employed to manage the time used to perform specific tasks, projects and goals within a deadline. Some of these skills and tools include planning, allocating, setting goals, monitoring, scheduling and organizing. Time management traditionally referred to the workplace but can also be applied to personal activities.
Time management skills are essential for success in any situation where time constraints are involved. The well-known saying that time is money is becoming more and more a reality in every business situation. If you are able to manage your workload rather than spend each day in a frenzy of activity, stress declines and productivity increases. Individuals who are highly effective in what they do are those that are able to focus on the tasks with the greatest impact to themselves and their organization. In TBAE's Time Management workshop, participants will learn key strategies and skills to help them manage their time effectively.
In the Time Management Course participants will learn aspects of goal setting such as the three P’s of goal setting, S.M.A.R.T goals, prioritizing your goals and visualization. They will learn to prioritize their time by using the 80/20 rule as well as the importance of assertiveness and the urgent versus the important matrix. Other subject covered in the Time Management Course include planning wisely, tackling procrastination, crisis management, organizing your workspace, delegating made easy, setting a ritual, meeting management and the alternatives to meetings.
