Business etiquette refers to a set of written and unwritten rules of conduct, designed to make social interaction run smoothly. In the office, it applies to coworker interaction in particular. The basic elements of business etiquette include being considerate to others, dress and appearance, proper introductions, conversation skills, dealing with interruptions, and proper business email and phone etiquette.
TBAE’s Business Etiquette Course is designed to help participants look and sound their best no matter what the situation. They will learn how to network for success including how to make a strong first impression, minimize nervousness, remembering names and using business cards effectively. The Course also covers telephone etiquette where they will learn to develop an appropriate greeting, deal with voicemail as well as cellphone Do’s and Don’ts.
Subjects covered in the Business Etiquette Course include Understanding Etiquette, Networking for Success, The Meet and Greet, The Dining in Style, Eating Out, Business Email Etiquette, Telephone Etiquette, The Written Letter, Dressing for Success and International Etiquette.
