Developing a Lunch and Learn Training Course
Creating a Lunch and Learn session is a low cost training option. Learn at Lunch is a way to get more training done by making the lunch hour multi-tasking. Participants will learn the criteria involved in creating a great Lunch and Learn environment. The training is usually less formal and less structured than normal. They are usually voluntary, thus attendance can sometimes be an issue. With this workshop you will be given the knowledge work through this issue and others. Some planning needs to be done ahead of time and some of it will flow once the program starts. Your participants will be able to use it as a follow-up or refresher to a previous training session. The biggest benefit of a Learn at Lunch program is that you are able to get more training delivered to your employees at minimal additional cost. It does’t have to be just about a learning event, it can also involve collaboration, networking, or sharing best practices between employees. The course will look at the following points : Understanding what a lunch and learn is, and is not. Setting up and breaking down. Creating new content. How to deal with difficult situations and people. Creating useful takeaways and using feedback to improve future lunch and learns.
