Knowledge Management includes a variety of strategies to identify, create, represent, distribute and enable adoption of insights and experiences. It comprises knowledge embodied either in organizations or individuals as processes or practices. Many large companies have resources dedicated to internal Knowledge Management as part of their business strategy, information technology or human resource management departments. There are also several consulting companies that exist to provide strategy and advice regarding Knowledge Management.
