TBAE’s Wacky, Wet, Weird and Wonderful team building activity includes fun team building exercises that will challenge you both mentally and physically. The exercises are designed not only to enhance teamwork, cooperation and communication, but to also get your team to bond by having fun together.
In this diverse team building activity, your group will be divided into teams that will compete against each other in various exercises. The facilitator will divide your group into teams using TBAE’s ice breakers. These ice breakers are designed to divide the group up in a way that ‘cliques’ are separated and new relationships formed.
The teams will compete against each other in team building exercises that include Fun Activities, Brain Activities, Physical Activities and Water Activities. Points are awarded for each exercise and the team with the most points at the end of the day is declared the winning team.
Magic Carpet - Each team member needs to stand on the small carpet. The carpet then needs to be turned over without any body part of each team member touching the floor. Some interesting body positions!
Gum Boot Dancing - The teams are taught an African Gum Boot Dance and then need to demonstrate their newly acquired skill.
Marble Run - A marble needs to be rolled from point A to point B using 4 short sticks. Back to point A if the marble hits the ground at any point.
Bug Eating Relay - No chickening out allowed. It’s the luck of the draw. Put your hands into the jar while blindfolded and wait for the surprise! (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN OPTIONAL EVENT)
Memory tester- The object of this activity is for the team to build an exact replica of a structure. The teams are given all the pieces that make up this structure however the structure is not in front of them and only one team member at a time is able to view the structure...
Hula Hoop Down - This activity is definitely much harder than it looks. The team stands in a circle, and the objective is to move the Hula Hoop down from above waste height to the ground. There are certain restrictions in terms of how the Hula Hoop is allowed to be held.
Cubes Challenge- Each team member will be given a colour cube. A colour will be given to the team. By maneuvering the cube components with your hands try and get your colour on one side of the cube. Hand, eye coordination is important.
Bhati- In this activity, one team tries to pick up as many objects as possible and place them into a crate, but only using their feet to do so. This they have to achieve while avoiding ‘fire’ from the opposing team. If anyone does get hit by a ‘missile’, they need to get out of the designated area...
Sack Race -The sack race is a fun and competitive game where participants put both of their legs inside a sack that reaches to their waist. They then need to jump forward inside the sack from a starting point to the finishing line. The first team to cross the finish line is the winner of the race...
Tyre Race- The members of the team need to maneuver tyres around certain obstacles using the two wooden poles provided. This is a relay race.
Penalty Shootout- Two teams compete against each other in this enjoyable and highly interactive activity. The one team has their turn at trying to score a goal, with each team member alternating after each attempt. The other team then tries to defend with each team member alternating...
Mini Raft Building (venue dependant) – The team needs to build a mini raft with the material provided and then one member of the team needs to sail across the water together with certain cargo.
Water Transfer – Teams need to transfer water from one side to the other using a combination of different equipment including canvas sheets and pipes with holes in them. Prepare to get very wet.
Bucket challenge – In this relay race teams race against each other trying to transport as much water as possible in the least amount of time. The buckets need to stay on top of the team member’s heads at all times which makes staying dry extremely challenging.
